I think it is not clear if when you buy a weather station you don't get the right to read results stored in this station by your way, but LaCrosse says the protocol is LaCrosse property.
I refrained myself publishing this code for 2 month but once the protocol was mostly decifered on german newsgroups (forum) I resumed this publishing. I think there is only one way to acces your informations in the station it is to use more or less the LaCrosse protocol.
But the code you will find here and explainations came through what I guessed by myself and from newsgroups . I think the ws-2300 weather station is nice because having memory history and many other capabilities usualy only found with a lot of money more, I also think its protocol is fully open for programmers, but without any documentation !!!
So if you are looking for "official Lacrosse protocol" please ask to them (and send it to me by a mail).
If they change their mind or if more information could become public it would be great !
